Itinerary

Day 1. Drive via Fort Portal to Queen Elisabeth National Park

The drive takes you through some scenic parts of the country, especially as we approach, and drive along the mountains of the Rwenzoris, where some peaks are snowclad. Lunch is in Fort Portal. Thereafter the drive continues to reach Queen Elisabeth National Park by late afternoon.

Day 2. Queen Elisabeth game-drive and boat launch.

The day has an early morning game-drive in the park with the aim to see elephants, lion, buffalo, antelopes and other animals. The prepacked breakfast is taken on the edge of a large crater in the Kasenyi area. In the afternoon there will be boat-launch on the Kazinga channel, a thrill for those who like hippos, buffalos, crocodiles and birds. But there is also a chance to see elephant, lions and if youre very lucky – a leopard, coming to drink.

Day 3. Return to Entebbe (or Kampala).

Early departure for the drive back to Entebbe (or Kampala). The drive will take you through some very nice landscape with tea an coffe plantations, undulating grasslands, towns and villages. We will stop at the Equator for photos as well as souvenir shopping before reaching Kampala/Entebbe late afternoon, where you will be dropped either at the airport or to your hotel.
