Accommodation

Accommodation can be your choice of either budget, medium or luxury. The below costs are for accommodation at Buhoma Community Rest Camp situated just next to the starting point for tracking and so near that the gorillas some time come for a visit. It is basic but clean enough and with good food and service. 

Itinerary 

Day 1. Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

The drive to Bwindi will take you trough some nice towns and rural areas of Uganda. If weather and the road permits the drive will take you through the Queen Elisabeth National Park where there is a chance of spotting the tree-climbing lions that are unique for this area and then further to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Day 2. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest – Gorilla Tracking

The very day for Gorilla tracking. All meet at the assembly point for further transport to the starting point for tracking. You will climb a bit during the day and will also have a chance of seeing chimps or other primates. Sometimes the gorillas are found in 1-2 hours, other times it takes longer. The guides and trackers will show you many things that you may come across as you move in the forest.  

Day 3. Return to Entebbe (or Kampala).

Early departure for the drive back to Entebbe (or Kampala). The drive will take you through some very nice landscape with tea an coffe plantations, undulating grasslands, towns and villages. We will stop at the Equator for photos as well as souvenir shopping before reaching Kampala/Entebbe late afternoon, where you will be dropped either at the airport or to your hotel.
