At the Falls we leave the boat for a hike to the top from where the cars will take us back.

Day 6. Chimps tracking

Leave early for chimps tracking in the Kibaale National Park. The rainforest has more varieties of primates than most other national parks in the word and you may encounter some other types on your tracking, as well as the forest elephant or other forest animals.

After tracking and lunch we leave for Queen Elisabeth National Park on a scenic drive along the Rwenzori mountains, the third highest in Africa. We will reach the park in the late afternoon.

The day has an early morning game-drive in the park with the aim to see elephants, lion, buffalo, antelopes and other animals. The pre-packed breakfast is taken on the slopes of a large crater in the Kasenyi area. In the afternoon there will be boat-launch on the Kazinga channel, a thrill for those who like hippos, buffalos, crocodiles and birds. But there is also a chance to elephant, lions and if you are very lucky – a leopard, coming to drink.

Day 8.  Drive from Queen Elisabeth to Bwindi

The drive to Bwindi will take you trough the Ishasha part of the park where there is a chance of spotting the tree-climbing lions that are unique for this area and then further to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Day 9.  Gorilla tracking in Bwindi.

The very day for Gorilla tracking. All meet at the assembly point for further transport to the starting point for tracking. You will climb a bit during the day and will also have a chance of seeing chimps or other primates. Sometimes the gorillas are found in 1-2 hours, other times it takes longer. The guides and trackers will show you many things that you may come across as you move in the forest.
